Who is Mr. Grolley?

I am a secondary level Mathematics teacher at Heatly School in the Green Island Union Free School District. I obtained my BA in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics, a BA in Mathematics, and a MS in Curriculum and Instruction, all through SUNY Plattsburgh. This will be another fun filled full year as a Mathematics teacher at Heatly. I truly enjoy being here and I am excited for what the upcoming years have to offer, as well as what I have to offer to you all! 

As you can see from the photo above, I am lucky to be a part of a family of five! Our family of five is made of my wife Elizabeth, my daughter Mia, my son Aiden, and my youngest son Greyson. We also have a Yorkie-poo, Ruby.

My son and I are big sports fans. You can usually find us watching the Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, New York Yankees, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, any soccer game, or any sport for that matter. However, our biggest time of year is the fall. Aiden and I are huge Las Vegas Raiders fans! Not only do I enjoy watching sports with my sons, I enjoy watching all of my kids play, as well as coach them. I also find time for myself to stay active. During the year you can find me playing indoor/outdoor soccer, basketball, and softball.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Last, but not least, life would not be as fun without my kids! They make each and every day fun, hilarious, entertaining, joyful, and loving. I am so lucky to have them. My daughter always knows how to make me laugh, smile, and feel loved. She is my princess. My oldest son is, right now, my athlete. Every second of the day he is doing something sports oriented. My youngest son is our source of laughter. He is always being silly and making everyone smile and laugh. All of my kids are little jokers.

So that is a quick bit of information about me. I can not wait to get to know you all, as well as assist you in becoming the amazing people that you all are destined to be! See you in the classroom.
